Service Advisor

Car-On Auto are looking for car Service Advisors!

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcoming of service customers and listens to their concerns
  • Work with technicians to identify required maintenance and repairs
  • Prepare repair orders, enter them into the database system and close the orders by providing appropriate repairs and services.
  • Provide service recommendations to customers including estimating costs
  • Ensure customer satisfaction meets company and manufacturers standards
  • Strive to meet the department's repair order production standards
  • Other service-related duties as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of retail customer service experience.
  • Automotive sector experience is a strong asset.
  • Must have great customer service and listening skills ·
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail ·
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Ability to manage warranty administration would be an asset
  • Strong computer skills experience is an asset

Service Technician / Auto Mechanic

Car-On Auto are looking for car mechanics!

Job Description:

  • Determine the source of any malfunction and carry out repairs in accordance with shop standards.
  • Examining damage reports, creating and reviewing repair cost estimates, and scheduling work.
  • Diagnoses and fixes problems with brake systems, drive lines, differentials, front and rear axles, transmissions, and clutches.
  • Diagnoses the cause of a malfunction, utilizing all available resources.
  • Replace or repair mechanical units or parts.
  • Effectively complete the work outlined on maintenance and repair orders while adhering to dealership and/or factory standards.
  • Provide service advisors and consumers with a non-technical explanation of mechanical diagnostics and necessary repairs.
  • For any warranty work, adhere to warranty policies and procedures.
  • Examine and test used cars, then record results so that repairs can be made as needed.

Requirements:

  • A current Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification is required.
  • A current G-class driver's licence with a clear driving history.
  • Three years or more of experience in the field.
  • The capacity to work quickly and cooperatively with others.
  • Keep track of all maintenance, parts, and supplies utilized.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management abilities.
  • A high level of motivation, energy and strong customer service skills.
  • Keeps the work space secure.

Apprentice Auto Technician

  • Car-On Auto are looking for car apprentices' mechanics!

Job Description:

  • Perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on vehicles.
  • Test all systems or components ensuring they are secure and working properly.
  • Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the maintenance issue.
  • Watch or inspect parts such as: hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, brakes, and other possible troublesome items.
  • Review work orders and discuss with supervisor.
  • Prepare estimate requirements.
  • Inspect motor in operation, road test vehicles, and test systems and components using computerized diagnostics and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems.
  • Completion of dealership training during the course of your employment.
